JAPAN TOUR ARCHIVE — 2024

Music nurtured in Chiang Mai reached the shores of Zushi and then Yokohama. In 2024, SANIMYOK performed with Eito, bringing their Thai-language collaboration “น้ำหอม” together with stages across Japan.

From JERSEY EIGHT in Zushi on October 19–20 to the Thai & Japan PUAN TOUR in Yokohama on the 21st, Fukui on the 24th and Osaka on the 25th: a look back at five performance dates and the exchanges that led to their shared recording.

Making music together before the journey

On February 14, 2024, before the Japan performances, SANIMYOK and Eito were photographed together under blue lights, surrounded by guitars, drums and microphones. The image records singers and musicians sharing a space and exchanging sounds.

This collaboration took place on a different day from the autumn Japan performances. It captures one moment in an exchange that would later lead to a recording and a Japan tour.

From “Kousui” to the Thai-language “น้ำหอม”

“น้ำหอม -香水- feat.SANIMYOK” was released on August 7, 2024. Eito asked SANIMYOK to arrange the song, and they recorded it in Chiang Mai. Thai vocals meet the band's playing, with a music video filmed in Thailand by a local crew.

A Japanese song crossed into Thai. The musicians who created it together then shared stages in Japan.

Zushi | Two seaside days at JERSEY EIGHT

The October 19–20 venue was surfers in Zushi, Kanagawa. Overlooking the coast, Eito's JERSEY EIGHT marked its eighth edition with a special two-day event. SANIMYOK and Eito performed on both days; the official announcement records both as sold out.

October 19 | The first stage

The lineup featured Takuya Koyama (Yabai T-Shirts Yasan), Saboten Neon House, SANIMYOK and Eito. The Chiang Mai band added its sound to an event bringing several musicians together.

October 20 | Another day, a different lineup

Naotaro Moriyama and Sonoko Inoue appeared on day two, with SANIMYOK and Eito returning from the previous day. A changing lineup connected two days of music on the seaside stage.

Yokohama | Sounds meeting on the PUAN TOUR

After two days in Zushi, October 21 brought the musicians to Grassroots Yokohama. Billed as the Thai & Japan PUAN TOUR, it brought together SANIMYOK × gnkosaiBAND × Eito.

gnkosaiBAND is active mainly around Yokohama and Shonan. Moving from the seaside event to a Yokohama live venue, the visit continued their exchange with Japanese musicians.

Fukui and Osaka | The PUAN TOUR heads west

The 2024 Thai & Japan PUAN TOUR continued to 酒PACE MONSTER GABORA in Fukui on October 24, followed by Musica Japonica in Osaka on the 25th. Official announcements list SANIMYOK, gnkosaiBAND and Eito for both shows.

October 24 | Fukui: 酒PACE MONSTER GABORA

The official schedule listed doors at 18:00 and the show at 19:00. After the Zushi coast and a Yokohama live venue, their collaboration reached the Hokuriku region.

October 25 | Osaka: Musica Japonica

Doors in Osaka opened at 18:30, with the show at 19:00. SANIMYOK and two Japanese acts traveled under the same tour name. Setlists and onstage remarks from Fukui and Osaka have not been verified, so this archive records the official concert announcements from the time.

A free bird leading into the following year

In 2024, Eito's “Kousui” was shared in Thai with SANIMYOK. In 2025, the direction reversed: a Japanese-language version of SANIMYOK's “Free Bird” and the touring “Jiyū na Tori” (“Free Bird”) shows followed. These collaborations led to the next journey.
